Printing techniques

Screen printing

This is a printmaking technique that creates a screen using a stencil and a porous fabric fo print your logo, text or image on a product. Areas of the screen are blocked off with a non-permeable material (a stencil) which is a positive of the image to be printed; the open spaces are where the ink will appear. The screen is placed on top of a piece of dry paper or fabric. Then the ink is placed on top of the screen, and a rubber blade is used to push the ink evenly into the screen openings and onto the substrate. Finally the ink passes through the open spaces in the screen onto the product or fabric below and the processing is completed. Only flat surfaces can be processed with screen printing. Almost all of the flat promotional items or corporate articles out of our array of products can be printed with one or more colours. Based on the material, shape and labor intensity the degree of complexity to imprint the article is determined. We distinguish easy (S1), medium (S2) and hard (S3) surfaces to apply this printing technique. This personalised printing method is mostly used for printed merchandise such as an umbrella, laptop bag or personalised bagpack.

Embroidery

This a processing technique at which your logo, text or image is embroidered on a fabric by using modern embroidery machinery. The price to embroider strongly depends on the number of colours and the total surface area of your logo, text or image. The maximum number of colours to be used is 15. Personalised embroidery for full surface or use of gold or silver cord has an additional cost. This method of personalisation is mostly used for merchandise or clothing such as corporate headwear (cap, hat) or bath robes.

Pad printing

This is another ink applying method which gives good effect on odd or curved shapes. Your corporate design will be applied on a printing block. By means of a rubber pad your design will be printed on the product. We make use of several pad shapes, which makes it possible to process a variety of business gifts. Most of the promotional merchandise that we sell can be processed with a padprint of your logo, text or image. Based on the material, shape and labor intensity the degree of complexity to imprint the article is determined. We distinguish easy (P1), medium (P2) and hard (P3) surfaces to apply this printing technique. This printing technique is mostly used for prints on, for example, golf balls, lighters, pens, usb-sticks or mugs.

Transfer printing

This is a printing technique at which your design will be printed on a paper image carrier with the help of a printer. By means of a transfer stamp this carrier is embossed on the article. This method is mainly used when more colours need to be printed or when very fine details need to be depicted on coarse textile. This processing technique is mostly used for prints on, for example, lanyards, caps or umbrellas.
